Vinny Pentrunko

Coach Vinny is from Brazil, he graduated in Physical Education at PUC-PR and had been a coach in his hometown for over 20 years. He has coached kids, teenagers and adults in a high level. Coach Vinny worked as an assistant coach in the Brazilian Women's National Team and at Rexona Volleyball Team, one of the most successful teams in the Brazilian Professional League. Also as an assistant coach, he won the Gold medal in Shenzen, China and Silver medal in Kazan, Russia at the Universiade Olympic Games. For his last 15 years in Brazil, coach Vinny was the coordinator at “Instituto Compartilhar”, which is a social program that seeks human development through sport. There, he was responsible for developing, applying and improving one of the most successful methodologies to teach volleyball for kids. A few years ago, he decided to move to the USA and face new challenges. In 2018 he moved to Dallas and coached at Attack VBC for 3 years  until merging with TAV. Coach Vinny has been married to Joyce for 30 years and they have 3 kids: Lucas (28) and Rafaella (27), both played volleyball for school and club in Brazil, and the youngest one Manuella (18), played for Marcus HS and this year for TAV 18 Gold.
